A Thankful Heart, instead of Complaining

I desist from complaining and winding at all times. Not because all is well but because it has been a habit that has enabled me to keep away from fears, frustrations, discouragements and failures at every given time. A wise man once said, “It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness.” – Charles Spurgeon. A heart of gratitude in every little thing is one virtue my mother taught me. With a heart of gratitude, many unexpected blessings have been consistently channeled my way.

In recent times, 85% of my quiet time is spent in thanksgiving & gratitude to my creator during my morning and evening devotion. Reason being that, I am not where I want to be but far better than where I was. Winding, complaining and murmuring will not resolve pending worries. Transferring frustration to friends, strangers or family will only rob one of his solutions or blessings.

Many only want to express gratitude when huge blessings or accomplishments are attained, no, they may never come. From the days of your little beginning, learn to show gratitude. A Thankful heart attracts favor. A heart of gratitude is a synergy to those prospective blessings yet to be attained. It is not too late to start. A thankful heart is a happy heart!
