Over the years, I have faced many disappointments, received many rejection emails and letters. In fact, I received more “No(s)” than “YES(s)”. But in all, I have learnt over the years that “every disappointment, is a blessing in disguise”.
Yes, you may have lost your job, received rejection emails on the graduate scholarships you honestly hoped for, got unexpected setback(s) due to COVID-19, your partner left you, you became broke financially, lost a loved one, and other unforeseen events may have happened in recent times.
Don’t lose hope, it might just be a blessing in disguise. Always understand that there are no problems or challenges that are strange to man. History has it that man always prevails and wins if he doesn't loss faith. But it requires a conscious effort. Here are my few life nuggets for you which I have used over the years and I got results:
- Staying focused, responsible and faithful at all times are prerequisites for things to always work to your favor. Personally, I usually give my very best at what I do with sincere and honest heart void of prejudice. This is because, just incase disappointment sets in, my creator should have my back and victory is always guaranteed.
- Keeping friendship and building a network with like-minded people bring succor and needed hope. They automatically, help you discover blessing(s) in disguise, even when you are not paying attention. Like I always say, I hand pick my friends because iron sharpens iron.
- Be resilient by re-strategizing rather than giving up, complaining and remaining negative. I suggest a 90 days rules here. I use it every time, after every 90 days in any given task, project or adventure, I re-evaluate to better proceed with caution.
- Finally, return to your maker, speak to that invisible supernatural being for divine guidance and strength to pull through it all. For me, I believe in God divine, I talk to him all the time.
Few days, weeks, even years from today, you will realize that those disappointments, rejections, NO(s) were divinely orchestrated to better equip you, make you a better person and allow you to appreciate your breakthroughs. Nonetheless, it may just have been a way to save your life from danger. Stay strong friends!
